Assessments

Several Assessments are mandated to monitor student success and to guide instructional efforts. As a Public School Academy in the State of Michigan, DAAS is required to administer standardized assessments to monitor and evaluate school and individual student achievement.

 

Each Spring, the M-STEP assessment is administered for all third through eighth grade students. Eighth grade students also take the P-SAT 8/9 as their ELA and Math state assessment.

 

In addition to these state-mandated assessments, DAAS administers the i-Ready Assessment at three intervals throughout the school year to all students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
